The NHLPA ratified the new collective bargaining agreement, officially ending the NHL lockout. On Saturday evening, league released the 48-game regular season schedule for 2013.
The Phoenix Coyotes will begin the season on the road on January 19th against the Dallas Stars. The Coyotes then play their home opener at Jobing.com Arena the next day against the Chicago Blackhawks, who Phoenix beat to win their first playoff series since moving to Arizona.
The jam-packed schedule will feature five games against the San Jose Sharks and the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Los Angeles Kings, four games against the Stars and Anaheim Ducks. The Coyotes will play the other 10 teams in the Western Conference three times.
