Every week Brett Harmon will bring you his NCAA Fottball Top 25.  Harmon is one of the 324 voters for the reddit.com College Football Top 25 poll.  You can find the rankings here.

Virginia Tech, Michigan State, and USC all lose and the Top 25 gets another shakeup.  What looked like a top five that was going to be pretty solid for most of the season got it's first shakeup seeing Florida St making their first appearance. But with conference play looming seval top 25 matchups this week the top 25 may look very different next week.

1 (1)       Alabama

The Tide rolled on taking advantage of an Arkansas team that is completely in shambles and proceeded to put up another laugher.  The question now stands, who will be the first team to play Bama close?

2 (3)       LSU

The Tigers move up solely because of USC loss, but they have still looked good all season.  But they will have their first real road test this week on the road at Auburn.

3 (4)       Oregon

Three games played against subpar opponents and Oregon has done exactly what they have needed to do.  Now they enter Pac-12 play and welcome Arizona to Autzen.

4 (6)       Florida State

FSU has looked good all season long and keep climbing in the rankings as a result.  This week against Clemson will more than likely be their toughest game until the end of the season when they play Florida.

5 (5)       Oklahoma

The Sooners got a week off, and they are going to need it.  The nation will see if they are for real this week when impressive Kansas State comes to Norman.

6 (7)       West Virginia

One last non-conference game for West Virginia before their inaugural Big 12 season, even though it’s Maryland from the ACC the Mountaineers should go to conference play undefeated.

7 (8)       Georgia

Georgia will have to prevent themselves from looking past Vanderbilt this week, with Tennessee and South Carolina looming on the horizon.

8 (9)       South Carolina

The Gamecocks didn’t need QB Connor Shaw to beat UAB, however with Missouri upcoming and with their quarterback James Franklin ready to go, South Carolina may be on upset watch.

9 (12)     Ohio State

The Buckeyes are playing for pride this year, and are appearing to be the best team in the Big 10.  They survived a scare from Cal and now get to play UAB before conference play.

10 (11)  Clemson

Warm-ups are over; Clemson goes on the road to Florida State looking to take a commanding lead in the ACC Atlantic division.

11 (19)  Stanford

No Andrew Luck, no problem for Stanford.  A big win over USC shakes up the Pac-12 and showing the nation that the Pac-12 north will not be a cakewalk for Oregon.

12 (2)     USC

A loss to Stanford pretty much took Southern Cal out of the National Title picture for now.  But Matt Barkley’s Heisman’s hopes may also be over after a sub-par showing.  Stanford really showed that SC may have problems with depth this year.

13 (13)  Texas

A blowout win over an SEC team is nothing to turn your nose at.  Even if that team is one of the bottom feeder of the conference.

14 (20)  Notre Dame

A big time win over a top 10 team are making people talk about how the Irish might finally be back.  If they can keep the winning going in the coming weeks get ready for Notre Dame National Title talk.

15 (15)  Kansas State

After a few blowouts North Texas was able to make things interesting.  Kansas State may have been looking ahead to this week as they have a real chance to make their bones against Oklahoma.

16 (18)  Florida

Florida v. Tennessee lived up to hype and Florida came out on top.  Now the Gators get an easier week with Kentucky before starting their murders row part of the SEC schedule.

17 (17)  TCU

TCU kept the nation’s longest winning streak in conference play going with a win over Kansas.  How long can the Horned Frogs keep it up in the Big 12?

18 (16)  Michigan

Michigan has a chance for redemption for itself and the Big 10 if they can take down the Fighting Irish this week in South Bend.

19 (22)  UCLA

With USC’s loss to Stanford the door seems wide open for UCLA to take the division.  But they still have to win the games.  And they cannot look past Oregon State this week who would love another top 25 upset.

20 (10)  Michigan State

Getting beat in your house by a rival is never fun.  Its worse when you get smacked down and you were your conference’s last chance for respectability.  The Big 10 is wide open still and Sparty can still take it home.

21 (21)  Louisville

North Carolina game Louisville a run for their money.  Right now all the Cardinals want to see is conference play, most of which they should be able to walk though.

22 (25)  Arizona

The Wildcats took care of business last week, and were able to get some rest for the starters for their huge trip to Oregon this week.

23 (23)  Nebraska

You have to think that Nebraska is chomping at the bit to get to the Wisconsin game next week to make up for their loss to UCLA two weeks ago.

24 (UR) Mississippi State

A 3-0 record. Check. Undefeated in the SEC (even if it only is one game versus Auburn). Check.  Good enough for me to make it to the top 25.

25 (UR) Boise State

After dropping out of the rankings the Broncos are right back into them.  They will look to solidify that place by taking out former top 25 team BYU.

Others receiving consideration: Oregon St, Oklahoma State, Tennessee

Dropped Out: Wisconsin, Virginia Tech

Biggest Jump: Stanford (19) to (11)

Biggest Fall: USC (2) to (12), Michigan State (10) to (20)

Top 25 Games This Week:

(22) Arizona at (3) Oregon

(10) Clemson at (4) Florida State

(15) Kansas State at (5) Oklaholma

(18) Michigan at (14) Notre Dame
